At The Boat House we have hosted an array of spectacular weddings tailor-made to suit couples requirements. Nothing is too much trouble and we will go that extra mile to make sure your day runs smoothly and you have the chance to relax and enjoy the occasion.

The Boat House is located in Jersey’s picturesque harbour in St Aubin. Wedding parties can benefit from a wonderful selection of hotels and guesthouses nearby, and we’re also just ten minutes drive from the airport.

Our fine dining restaurant holds a Civil Marriage Licence for up to 120 people. Whether you wish to hold the entire ceremony at the venue, or simply a stunning reception, one of our friendly and dedicated event planners will ensure your every need is catered for, while resident Chef David Cameron will create a sumptuous meal for your special occasion.

Sails Simply Divine Wedding Package :
The simply divine wedding package is available Monday through to Friday with exclusive use of Sails Brasserie at The Boat House from 11:00am to 5:30pm for just £2000.

EVENTS/BANQUETING:

Be it an intimate gathering of friends and family, or a large corporate event, we can offer the perfect setting, food and service to suit every occasion.

SAILS BRASSERIE is available for groups of between 9 and 150 guests and has the benefit of a private bar and three suntrap terraces.

QUAY BAR can accommodate groups for drinks and casual dining. In July 2010 the conservatory area was extended to expand the restaurant and is double the size of the back terrace overlooking the harbour. Weather permitting; the terraces can be exclusively booked for private parties.

EVENTS FAQ

Q. Do you do preview food tastings?
A. We will happily arrange a tasting of your chosen menu. This will be charged to your final account.

Q. Can you cater for special diets?
A. We are happy to provide for guests with particular dietary requirements. Please advise us in advance of the details.

Q. Is it possible for large groups to dine Al Fresco?
A. Yes. We have large terraces on both floors at the front and rear of the building. Please get in touch for further details.

Q. Do you cater for children/babies?
A. Children and babies are very welcome at The Boat House. We like to encourage children to eat well and healthily so we offer them the same menu as the adults with half size portions for half the price.

Q. Do you have any highchairs?
A. Yes, we have highchairs available at The Boat House.

Q. What time do we have the restaurant from?
A. For a lunch function the restaurant runs from 12 noon to 5pm. Dinner functions run from 7pm till 1am and we ask that the premises are vacated by 1.30am.

Q. Do you supply flowers?
A. Our nominated supplier is Mark Howe Flowers. We will happily put you in touch to make arrangements.

Q. Can you suggest some photographers?
A. Yes, we have a range of photographers that we use for different occasions. We will happily put you in touch to make arrangements.

Q. Can we have fireworks?
A. Yes but this will need to be arranged at your own cost. For Health & Safety reasons we only use one provider, Starburst Fireworks, so please make your arrangements with this supplier only.

Q. Is there a private bar in The Boat House?
A. The entire first floor is available for private hire and a bar is present in this area.

Q. Is there an area in which we can have drinks prior to sitting for our meal?
A. Yes there is a bar area that can be used for groups of limited size and there are also two downstairs external terraces which can be heated for your use when weather allows.

Q. Do The Boat House supply menus/place cards?
A. We have menus and place cards available for your use, should you however wish to provide these yourself you are of course welcome to do so. We do not charge an additional amount for the provision of these.

Q. Is there a secure area in which we can store our belongings?
A. Yes, there is a small cloakroom available for your use, which remains locked and is only accessible to our staff.

Q. When do you require final numbers?
A. We require confirmed numbers five days prior to the date of your event.

Q. For how many people can you provide private dining?
A. We are delighted to serve private events for up to 150 guests.

Q. Can you cater for disabled guests?
A. We have a lift, which allows access to the first floor restaurant, a ramp for access to the main building and accessible facilities located on the ground floor.

Q. Can I contact you via e-mail?

Q. How do I make a booking?
A. You can book online using our Open Table booking system, call, write or email us with details of your requirements and preferred date. We will then reserve the facilities requested and contact you to confirm. On confirmation you must accept our Event Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed online, or we can send a copy of these to you. We would be very happy to show you around the venue prior to booking should you so wish.

Q. Can I provisionally reserve a date if I am unsure?
A. Yes. Your booking can be provisionally held for a period of one week.

Q. How do I confirm my booking?
A. We will need a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions, an event schedule and the specified deposit.

Q. Could you offer a breakfast meeting?
A. We are happy to consider any arrangements for a bespoke package. Please come and talk to our events team who can quote options and prices dependant on the requested event.

Q. Is it easy to get taxis?
A. There is a taxi company based just over the road from The Boat House.

Q. Do you take wedding bookings?
A. The Boat House is a popular venue for weddings. We host wedding receptions and also hold a civil wedding licence. We have a great team who will assist you and ensure you have a day to remember.

Q. Where do we park?
A. We do not have a private car park but there is a large public car park adjacent to the property.

Q. Do you do themed events?
A. We are happy to consider any form of arrangements and if we can assist in these we will be happy to do so.

Q. Do you provide decorations for events?
A. We provide crackers and table decorations for all Christmas functions, should you require decoration for any other event these would need to be provided by yourselves based upon our agreement with the arrangements you wish to make.

Q. When do you offer Christmas menus and events?
A. Christmas menus are available from 1st Dec – 24th Dec.

Q. Can you have exclusive use of the entire building?
A. This would be considered on an individual basis dependent on the request. The costs would be formulated dependent on date and style of event.

Q. Can we smoke in the restaurant?
A. Sorry, this is not possible as dictated by Jersey Law. All The Boat House Group’s restaurants and bars are non-smoking. We do however provide heated outdoor smoking areas.
